Note:  San Francisco (89-73) was disqualified from the post season due to over usage of 8 players (they did not have enough starts to compete in a 7 game series); Lincoln Tunnel Rats won the AL West Division by way of their 11-7 H2H record against Carefree; Carefree named the # 3 seed by way of their 8-4 H2H record vs Salem; Philadelphia defeated Kentucky in 17 innings for final playoff spot in a 1-game playoff

The World Series was marked with tragedy as Dave Pittner of the Carefree Coyotes passed away one day after winning the Championship.  He won the final game 5-1 (Game 6) but the stats for that game are not available.  The series was unofficially won 3 games to 2 in the database. 

Dave, you will truly be missed.  Congratulations on your Championship.
