fast as Fresno's Cust clobbers a RBI double in the
first and then a 3 run bomb in the 3rd. Fresno out
to 5-0 lead after 3 played. leading off the 4th Jose
Baustisa goes yard, followed by 3 straight singles
Martin with 3rd one plating 1 run, SF by Bartlett
and we have 5-3 game. Volcanoes get another one in
5th on Bautista FC. Top 6 5-4 game and
California erupts for 6 runs lead by RMartins 2 run
single and Ichiro's 2 run single. Now 10-5 game,
Volcanoes would 4 more late in game capped by
Bartlett 2 run single. Final 14-5, Cal pounds
out 20 hits. Ichiro 4-6, JBautista 2b hr 4 rbis.
Fresno's Chamberlin pounded for 6hits, 4 runs in 1.2

Volcanoes strike 1st with rbi single by Morales,
Fresno's Scott launches a 2 run shot in 2nd to make
it 2-1 game after 2. Callaspo leads off 4th with
solo shot to tie it. Top 5 2 outs 2 on Gonzalez
cranks a 3 run shot, next batter Callaspo singles,
followed by RMartin who takes Garland deep for a 2
run shot. 7-2 CAL lead, Bot 7th and Fresno's starts
a rally CPatterson with PH rbi single, then with 2
out 2 on, Cust goes yard for 3 run shot, but rally
would end. 7-6 ball game, Top 8 Beltre knocks in
Ichiro and a little breathing room. Bot 8 Fuentes
continues to throw well striking out 3 of 5 batters
faced. On to 9th, Morales pops one to RF where its
dropped by GJones, Gonzo drives him in with single,
RMartin drives in Gonzo for another run, Beltre
would fly out with bases loaded to end rally. Bot 9

the 4th Snider rips a 1 out triple, Callaspo SF and
4-3 game. Onto the 6th and another SF this time by
Gonzo makes it 5-3 game, Pinerio lifted after 6ip 6
hits 5runs , Braden though still working into the
8th, when WLopez relives him with 2 outs 1 on, Lopez
gets the groundout by PH Scott. Wheeler comes in to
close it and makes things interesting, walking Cust
and Zobrist with 2 outs go ahead at bat in Napoli,
and Wheeler gets the WHIFF to end it! Final 5-3

Bot 2nd Gonzo goes yard with solo shot and lead 1-0.

shot and 3-0 lead. with De la Rosa working out of
jams getting 3 big double plays to squash Fresno
rally attempts things looking good for Volcanoes.
